Prague lost 1.52% on Friday, led down by Cesky Telecom, which posted a loss of 1.91% at CZK 503.30. The stock once again tested the CZK 500 level (intra-day low of CZK 498), but there a number of domestic and foreign accounts stepped in and supported the stock on the bid side. Two SPAD-quoted Czech banks, Komercni and Sporitelna, continued to trade with positive momentum. Komercni, in particular, added 3% to CZK 867. After Friday’s NASDAQ gain, stocks are likely to gain some strength again; in particular, we would watch Ceske radio and Cesky Telecom. Total volume reached a slightly above-average level of USD 17.17 mil. on Friday.
