Thursday saw a relaxed session in Prague compared with Wednesday (when there was heavy selling in Cesky Telecom and a buying fever in Komercni). Cesky Telecom (CT) traded in a range of CZK 612-622.70 throughout the day; there were buyers in CT in the morning, but an offering London house kept the stock from rising any further. Komercni bank (KB) traded listlessly in the morning, but London brokers boosted the stock mid-afternoon—KB closed up 1.22%, at CZK 906, but had traded as high as CZK 925. Ceske radio gained 1.16% despite no news. The PX-50 index yesterday gained 1.12% on a total volume of USD 16.6 mil.
