IPS Praha once again was the most volatile stock on the market yesterday as information on Skanska’s mandatory buyout offer was released. Official statements were on occasion misinterpreted by both traders and agency reporters, and sent the stock down 5.80%, closing at CZK 169.80. All other stocks were weaker too, particularly Komercni banka and Ceske Radio — both lost 2.5% — on no news flow. CEZ faced sellers again but closed only 1.54% down at CZK 98.94. Volumes were fairly low, at USD 16 mil.; the PX-50 Index was down 1.29%.
