Tuesday’s trading was conducted in the light of the surprisingly good 1Q/2000 GDP data released on Monday. Buyers were both domestic and international. Ceske Radiokomunikace benefited most from the buoyant mood, advancing 4.24%; the stock’s gain was not related to any trade news, at least to the best of our knowledge. Although CEZ found a strong seller in the early morning, buyers pursued the stock throughout the day, pushing it up 2.22%. Volumes were healthy at USD 19.9 mil. The PX-50 index was up 1.41% on Tuesday.
