The PX-50 index closed down 0.07% to 440.9 on Wednesday. Most of the volume was once again in Philip Morris CR, but foreign supply prevented the stock from advancing; it closed down 0.9% to CZK 12.655. Other names traded sideways with no particular trading or news flow. For today, with US markets showing uncertainty and further weakness, European bourses are expected to return some of yesterday’s gains upon opening this morning. Furthermore, as the Hungarian market undergoes a steep sell off, we may see more foreign sellers appearing on the market here as well. Volume in SPAD reached USD 7.37 mil. yesterday.
