Ceske radiokomunikace’s 6M parent company figures were better than we expected, at both the operating level and the bottom line. EBITDA (CZK 596 mil., +22% y-to-y) and EBIT (CZK 63 mil., +11%) were driven by better-than-expected revenues (CZK 1,410 mil., +16%). Most of the positive surprise was due to higher financial revenues (mainly due to interest earned on RadioMobil compensation before most of was distributed in a dividend). As a result, pre-tax profit grew to CZK 250 mil. from CZK 20 mil. one year ago. The more relevant IAS consolidated results will be released in September.
