The Prague PX-50 index lost 0.78%, to 419.20 points, on Wednesday. Overall, trading activity was low again as investors seem to be concerned over the outlook for global economy. In Prague, Cesky Telecom traded down 2.46%, to CZK 357.20. Once again, foreign participation remained limited. Unipetrol finally woke up from low volumes of late and saw over 1 mil. of its shares traded Wednesday; supply and demand for the stock was balanced, and the stock closed unchanged at CZK 59.73. For today, we expect Czech equities to trade weaker as more US corporations issued gloomy profit outlooks again yesterday. Total market volume reached USD 9.73 mil. in Prague.
