Prague experienced a quiet session on Friday the PX-50 index losing 1.19% to 433.40 points. Ceske Radio and Cesky Telecom both led the decline. Although Ceske Radio opened at a CZK 500 level after Thursday’s AGM, some interest from local investors was shown in the afternoon and the stock closed at CZK 523.80. Cesky Telecom followed its Western European counterparts as it lost 2.84% on the day to CYK 390.1. Overall trading volume was low (USD 10,17 mil.) and foreign participation limited. Locally the market will open today with an eye upon the direction of other major European markets (which are weaker this morning).
