The Prague equity index PX-50 added 1.18% to 471.20 points on Thursday. An improved outlook and international as well as domestic demand for Cesky Telecom led the market on a whole a bit higher. Cesky Telecom ended the day up 1.11%, at CZK 454.50, the upper end of the day’s trading range (CZK 429.50-454). Komercni banka proved strong once again as a market maker lifted the stock up to CZK 1,060, the day’s high. For today, we believe the market will be somewhat weaker as European telcos and TMTs should be grounded after last night’s poor US corporate earnings and outlook announcements. Total market volume reached USD 14.18 mil. on Thursday.
