PX-50 index gained 0.69% on Tuesday, led by Cesky Telecom and Ceske Radio. Ceske Radio erased Monday losses, and gained 5.59%, to CZK 1,171, due to what we believe was short covering. Also, a London bank issued a research report recommending to buy the shares of the company with a target of CZK 1,410. Cesky Telecom traded stronger, in a range of CZK 465-478, with little interest the on part of foreign investors. The stock traded in a low volume of 369,745 shares. For today, we expect a weak opening and an overall weakness throughout the day given the NASDAQ close yesterday and the disappointing results of Matav, Cesky Telecom’s regional peer. Total volume reached USD 13.78 mil. on Tuesday.
