Cesky Telecom hit a 52-week low on Tuesday, losing more than 5% and trading as low as CZK 427.50. This decline pulled the PX-50 index down 2.86% (at 441.5 points). The weakness in Czech Telecom was a result of further declines on major markets, as well as the losses of its regional peers during trading yesterday. Other stocks followed the weakness: CEZ down 2.42%, Komercni banka down 0.47%, and Ceske radio down 2.61%. Ceska sporitelna lost 2.16%, to CZK 221.60, despite Deutsche Bank`s investment opinion upgrade to a strong buy. Trading volume reached USD 13.82 mil. on Tuesday.
