The Prague Stock Exchange’s PX-50 index rose slightly (+0.61%) on Friday, as banking stocks benefited from a fresh wave of buying activity. Ceska sporitelna added 2.43%, closing at CZK 232.10, largely on foreign buying. CEZ remained under the CZK 100 level as the strong selling flow there continued. The principal seller, however, is not aggressive and hardly hits the bids; most of the prices are done in the middle of the spread. Still, CEZ was active with 1.2 mil. shares traded on Friday. Overall volume reached USD 15.72 mil. on Friday. KB and CEZ 9M figures are due to be released today, at 11 am and 2 pm CET, respectively. Prior to the figures, we expect nervous and tight trading.
