For the third day in row, the Czech market was pulled lower (by 0.50%) as Cesky Telecom and Komercni again faced selling pressure from abroad. Cesky Telecom lost 1% in trading in which only 247,538 shares changed hands. Komercni followed suit, losing 1.36%, as the market feared that KB’s information memorandum could disappoint as far as forthcoming government guarantees are concerned (see below). Komercni closed at CZK 898.60. Overall volume reached a low level of USD 7.97 mil. yesterday.
