CEZ informed that it signed contract with Russian TVEL to provide nuclear fuel for power plant Temelin after 2010. It will replace Westinghouse, which is current supplier. The value of the contract amounts “several” billion CZK and relates to 400 tonnes of supplies to both Temelin’s blocks until 2020. TVEL has been supplying another CEZ’s nuclear power plant in Dukovany for a long time and managed to reduce costs as the quality has improved. We see the news as neutral for today’s trading, which will be mainly driven by news about 1Q06 figures.
