Today’s Parkiet reports that Polish government plans to replace the top management of a row of State controlled enterprises, including PKN Orlen.
The newpaper also reports that the likely successor of Mr. Chalupec in the CEO position would be Mr. Piotr Woyciechowski, currently chairman of Supervisory Board of Nafta Polska. The article does not specify when the change could happen. The newspaper adds that the changes in Lotos are less likely but could not be excluded.
Market was already calmed down regarding this issue, and it is likely to consider the today’s news as a renewed risk factor.
