According to Mediafax, CEZ together with Enel, AES, EBRD and World Bank’s International Finance group are interested in buying ComplexulCraiova, a Romania coal power plant, which produces about 6% of total Romanian electricity generation. The sale can be realized even this year with potentially more power plants in Turceni and Rovinari. CEZ’s interested in the power plan fits into its strategy to build a strong hold in the CEE&SEE region. We reiterate our Buy recommendation.
