The Czech currency closes at 28,45 against the euro pulled by positive influence of emerging markets. The Turkish lira is closely watched these days: After its deep fall in the last weeks, Turkist central bank decided to make a big rate hike and also direct interventions on daily basis. This helped the lira to firm although some downward pressures are still present on the market.
The koruna gains also against the dollar to 22,67 CZK/USD. The move was underlined by dollar weakening today morning. Afternoon, the US data on new home sales supported slightly the dollar, but the rate stays weaker at 1,2545 USD/EUR.
