The Czech koruna climbed to new all time high again, breaking the 28 level. The new high has been set to 27,96 CZK/EUR. The move came despite worse than expected Czech current account, with a record dividend outflow. Positive factor was mainly the firming of the Polish zloty. Now the CZK trades at 28,02, retreating a bit from previous levels.
The koruna looses against the dollar, when traded at 21,95 CZK/USD. The dollar firmed after today US data, when retail sales beated market expectations.
