The Prague’s main benchmark the Index PX closed a touch lower on very thin volume. Philip Morris shares showed free fall after posting the worst than expecting 1H06 results. The stock lost almost 9% and closed below CZK 10,000 treshold as international accounts were selling while domestic players buying. Zentiva rose the second day in row being bid by foreigners and closed at CZK 1,150 level. Telefónica O2 CR (Cesky Tel.) slightly increased when the market was well balanced thanks to local buyers and foreign sellers at CZK 473 level.
