The Prague’s Stock Exchange closed up despite sell-offs on Hungarian and Polish markets. CEZ led the rally fuelled by higher electricity prices reached in the wholesale auction. Komercni banka finished above CZK 3,300 level on the back of late purchases. Telefonica O2 CR (Cesky Tel) benefited from local interest and was lifted to CZK 485. Philip Morris continues its rebound being bid by international players and jumped to CZK 9,245, stock was also supported by CAIB’s upgrade. Orco was the second best performer as the story about 30% sales surpass pulls the price up. Only Zentiva and Erste Bank experienced profit taking and declined.
