The Czech market closed in the positive territory and outperformed its regional peers which finished in red numbers. CEZ, Konercni banka and Zentiva managed to close at its day highs. CEZ supported by demand from international accounts soared and finally broke CZK 830 level. Zentiva finished above CZK 1,250 being bid for a whole day by foreign players. Komercni banka jumped by more than 2% on the back of Modra Pyramida (building society) purchase and closed well above CZK 3,400 level. Telefónica O2 CR (Cesky Tel) added as domestic investors were buying ahead of its forthcoming dividend payout, foreign accounts were on the sell side. September 20th is the last day when the stock trades with cum-dividend of CZK 45 per share. Volumes were at the YTD average.
