Czech market corrected its fall from previous day and closed in positive territory similarly as other regional markets. This upswing was mainly due to banks, Komercni and Erste jumped on back of strong move up by Hungarian OTP, which gained 7%. CEZ rebounded as regional refineries were strengthening. Orco and CME soared by 1.8% and 3.1% respectively as it was heavily lifted in the afternoon. PMCR fell amid profit taking, however on low volumes. TEF O2 stayed almost flat despite rising neighboring telco as locals were selling. Overall there wasn’t any major activity on the market as investors were probably looking more on Hungary because of mentioned OTP rally.
