The Slovak koruna corrected its previous
losses and returned close to the level of
37.40 EUR/SKK. The only news released
yesterday, was the announcement of
Japan’s Sony to build a new factory for
producing LCD Television sets. The total
investment should reach EUR 73 million.
Despite this positive news, the koruna didn’t
react significantly and was more influenced
by the regional mood. Due to the lack of
domestic events or data, the currency will
continue to track regional market
tendencies. But we don’t expect any major
adjustments in the exchange rate; it should
oscillate within the range of 37.35-37.60
EUR/SKK.
