The Czech koruna closes today trading at 28,05 CZK/EUR. During the day, we saw the bid as low as at 27,93. That indicates trading at record levels for the koruna. There are still no relevant Czech news on the tape, the buying appetite of international players is supported by external factors such as increasing yields and weakening dollar.
The CZK ends stronger against the US dollar at 21,95 CZK/USD. US purchasing management index, released today, was slightly worse than estimates, but didn´t cause another fall of the American currency. The USD/EUR now stands at 1,2770. This indicates possible moderating of current positive mood on the CE currencies.
