The Czech koruna firmed during the first part of today session and have set its new all-time high at 27,87 CZK/EUR. The close was however at 27,98 CZK/EUR, while a correction came in by the session end. The koruna is not influenced by domestic factors, we have no macro news and the political situation shows stable or rather negative development. It is global risk appetite that pushes the emerging currencies to stronger levels - and this is also the case for the CZK.
The koruna firmed also against the USD today, closing at 21,98 CZK/USD. The move has the same reason as on the CZK/EUR market, as the USD/EUR stays stable during the whole day and didn´t influence much the trading.
