The Czech market started new week with a decrease. The only Unipetrol managed to finish in green numbers. Philip Morris got hit the most and closed below the CZK 11,000, when was actively offered for the whole day on no corporate news. Zentiva tested the CZK 1,200 level, but proved to hold this level. CEZ reached the CZK 900 in the morning, where the stock found a nice support and closed at the CZK 910. Komercni banka (KB) fell again on the back of FOX-Pitt’s downgrade. KB has fallen about 10% since reported its 3Q06 results. Erste Bank opened after S&P upgrade 1.5% in the positive territory, but finished in red numbers admitting profit taking. Telefonica O2 CR closed weaker, but found a strong support from foreign buyers. The total traded volume was well above YTD daily average.
