The number of persons registered with the Labor Office in November saw a drop which, according to our estimates, was to 437,000 from 440,000 in October. The unemployment rate moved down from 7.4% to 7.3%. The impact of seasonal factors is the same in October as in November. There were favorable economic developments, which led to a significant increase in the number of vacancies and these were the main factors behind the decrease in unemployment. In October, the number of vacancies offered by at the Labor Offices surpassed 100,000 and reached its highest level in the last ten years. The unemployment rate should slightly move-up again towards the end of the year and could reach 7.7-7.8%.
