According to daily Pravo, the current government will ask for a confidence vote on Friday, January 19. Note that it is after 10day (30days limit) after designation by president. The ruling coalition (Civic and Christian Democrats and Greens) met with opposing Social Democrats (CSSD) yesterday. CSSD reiterate that will not support or tolerate this government.
Our view:
This is the second cabinet since June’s general election. Current government has 100 votes from 200 seats in the chamber. It doesn’t seem to be probable that government win the confidence vote. If the second cabinet fails there is third (last) attempt to form government and subsequently an early election.
