The market strongly rebounded recent losses led by CEZ. Thanks to short covering and foreign buyers CEZ jumped up to the CZK 910. Telefónica O2 CR firmed to CZK 485 as S&P upgraded rating of the mother company Telefónica. CME increased supported by good US line performance and Polish TVN’s rally. Komercni banka also closed up, but there were some international sellers as the stock reached the 3,270 levels. Philip Morris showed free fall by more than 3% as foreign sellers were switching money from defensive to more aggressive sectors. In negative territory finished also ECM and Zentiva closed almost flat.
The total traded volume was in-line with long term average and CEZ became the most liquid stock again.
