The market closed stronger led by Erste Bank and Zentiva. CEZ declined by almost 1% on lower energy prices and international sellers appeared. The stock dropped intraday to CZK 920, but partially recovered towards the end of the session. Erste Bank gained being supported by its performance in Vienna. Zentiva crossed the CZK 1,300 level and finished at CZK 1,316 as foreign investors were on the Buy side, some resistance where seen at CZK 1,320.
Unipetrol jumped, when it sold its subsidiary Kaucuk to Polish Dwory for CZK 5.5bn, which is CZK 1.5bn more than the market had expected. The average traded volume was concentrated on Zentiva.
CZK, in-line with CE3 currency weaknesses, declined against EUR/USD again.
