According to CTK, CEZ plans to build a wind farm in north-west Bohemia close to Chomutov city. There should be 33 windmills with capacity 2MW each and should generate about 4000 MWh per year. Company estimated the investment for CZK 2.3bn – 2.6bn (EUR 82m – 93m). The construction work could begin in 2009. Our view:
We see news with no impact for today’s trading. CEZ currently generates about 4% of its total capacity from renewable sources. The main CEZ’s focus remains on coal and nuclear power generation.
