The Czech koruna has closed weaker today, at 28,27 CZK/EUR and 21,53 CZK/USD. In the morning, Czech PPI came out higher than expected and pushed the CZK to stronger levels. But, later on, the CZK reversed and started to loose. The negative factor was higher CPI in the US, some negative impact may have also the rate hike in Japan today morning.
The US dollar firms slightly against the euro. After some volatility linked to the BoJ decision, the USD/EUR has been quite stable. Higher-than-expected American CPI caused some dollar firming, but the move is rather small. Now, the rate stands at 1,3130 USD/EUR.
