The Czech market significantly outperformed the entire CE3 region. The main PSE’s benchmark PX Index finished close to intraday high at 1,704.8 points. Volumes were concentrated on CEZ and Telefónica O2 CR. CEZ increased by 2.2% and extended gains after it posted its 2006 results. Also Telefónica O2 CR announced its results and we saw positive reaction on proposed dividend of CZK 50 per share. Zentiva was under pressure as international accounts were on the buy side. The total traded volume was above the long-term average.
