The Czech koruna continued weakening today and closed at 28,42 CZK/EUR. The currency followed regional mood that was negative today. No fresh local news were released today. Hungarian central bank has kept interest rates on hold, which was broadly expected. But, the bank´s chief spoke about inflationary risks caused by wages and consumption. This helped the HUF to stay flat today, unlike the rest of the CE.
The CZK has lost to the dollar and ended at 21,58 CZK/USD. Eurodollar market was quiet today, ahead of important data this week. The rate USD/EUR now stands at 1,3165.
