We saw quite volatile trading with improved sentiment towards the end of the session. All Czech blue-chips closed down. The total traded volume was significantly above the long-term averages as international investors were very active. CEZ, Zentiva and Erste Bank were market shakers. PX Index declined sharply in-line with global negative sentiment, but closed at intraday high. CEZ after government’s decision to sell 7% via stock exchange showed free fall to the CZK 824 at the opening, but rebounded and finished at CZK 847. CEZ and Zentiva were traded both ways. Zentiva was demanded abound the CZK 1,300 level.
