The balance of payments current account showed a deficit in the 2Q07 of CZK 43bn after showing a surplus of 14.7bn in the 1Q07. In relation to GDP, the current account deficit on a full year basis rose from 3.1% to 3.4% GDP. The financial account showed a surplus of CZK 16.1bn. For the full year, we expect a current account deficit of CZK 124bn - i.e. 3.5% of GDP.
