The unemployment rate will have declined at the end of February to 5.9% from 6.1% in January, according to our estimates. Seasonal factors are behind the 0.1 percentage point and the other 0.1 is due to the fast economic growth, which is creating new vacancies. The number of vacancies in the Czech economy reached an historical high in January and indicated continuing positive developments in the labor market for the year ahead.
