Business Summary: The Ether Fund (the Fund) is a Canada-based closed-ended investment fund. The investment objective of the Fund is to seek to provide unit holders of the Fund with exposure to the digital asset ether (ether), the daily price movements of the United States dollar price of ether and the opportunity for long-term capital appreciation. To achieve its investment objectives, the Fund will invest in long-term holdings of ether, purchased from reputable ether trading platforms and over the counter (OTC) counterparties, in order to provide investors with a convenient, safer alternative to a direct investment in ether. 3iQ Corp. is the trustee, manager, portfolio manager and promoter of the Fund (the Trustee and Manager).
Financial Summary: BRIEF: For the six months ended 30 June 2025, Ether Fund revenues decreased from $81M to -$46.1M. Net loss totaled $48.6M vs. income of $77M. Revenues reflect Net change in unrealized appreciation in decrease from $46.1M to -$68.8M, Net realized gains on sale of digital as decrease of 35% to $20.3M, Revenue earned from staking activities decrease of 38% to $2.4M.
