Business Summary: SPDR Dow Jones International Real Estate ETF (the Fund), formerly SPDR DJ Wilshire International Real Estate ETF, seeks to closely match the returns and characteristics of the total return performance of the Dow Jones Global ex-U.S. Select Real Estate Securities Index (the Index), an equity index based upon the global (ex-US) real estate market. The Index is a float adjusted market capitalization index designed to measure the performance of publicly traded real estate securities in developed and emerging countries excluding the United States. The Fund’s investment manager is SSgA Funds Management, Inc.
Financial Summary: BRIEF: For the six months ended 31 March 2014, SPDR Dow Jones Interntnl Real Estate ETF revenues increased 19% to $61.7M. Net income decreased 94% to $25.5M. Revenues reflect Dividends increase of 21% to $67.2M, Affiliated securities lending -- net increase of 8% to $428K. Net income was offset by Net Unrealized Gain - Investment decrease from $432.8M (income) to $36M (expense), Advisory fee increase of 20% to $12.3M (expense).
