Business Summary: Claros Mortgage Trust, Inc. is a real estate investment trust. The Company is focused primarily on originating senior and subordinate loans on transitional commercial real estate (CRE) assets located in markets across the United Sates. Its objective is to provide debt capital for transitional CRE assets and, in doing so, to generate risk-adjusted returns for its stockholders. It seeks primarily to originate, co-originate and acquire senior and subordinate loans on transitional CRE assets located in the United States markets and generally intend to hold its loans to maturity. In addition to its primary focus on the United States markets, it also seeks to originate senior and subordinate loans on transitional CRE assets located in other markets. It also focuses on mortgage loans secured by a first priority or subordinate mortgage on transitional CRE assets, and subordinate loans, including mezzanine loans. The Company is externally managed and advised by Claros REIT Management LP.
Financial Summary: BRIEF: For the three months ended 31 March 2026, Claros Mortgage Trust Inc revenues decreased 39% to $80.4M. Net loss decreased 31% to $54.3M. Revenues reflect Interest and related income decrease of 50% to $59M. Lower net loss reflects Valuation adjustment for loan receivable decrease from $42.6M (expense) to $0K, Bad Debt Written Off/Provision decrease of 24% to $31.4M (expense).
