Investing.com -- Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com announced it will launch a new vehicle in collaboration with battery maker CATL and automaker GAC, according to a company post on Weibo. Public test drive events for the new vehicle will begin at the end of October, with the official launch scheduled for November 9. A JD spokesperson clarified that the company will not be directly involved in manufacturing the vehicle. Instead, JD will contribute consumer insights and provide exclusive sales channels for the new automobile. This partnership brings together JD’s e-commerce expertise with CATL’s battery technology and GAC’s automotive manufacturing capabilities.
