The Czech market finished lower in-line with global sentiment. Volatility was limited, but the total traded volume was well above the long term averages. CEZ and Unipetrol were market movers. CEZ and Zentiva closed weaker on the back of selling from international investors. Unipetrol was the only stock in SPAD finishing in positive territory. The stock skyrocketed and gained more than 5% after news than Italian Eni agreed to buy 16.3% stake in Ceska rafinerska from ConocoPhillips. Some domestic broker also raised its target price to CZK 315 per share. Unipetrol touched the CZK 290 level during the day, but closed slightly below this mark.
