The Czech market closed week in negative territory which is in-line with the global sentiment. The total volume traded was again above the long-term averages. Heavy volumes went through the banks. Both banks traded at PSE were also the biggest losers copying the entire European banking sector. CEZ gained 0.7% as offer side was weak. Telefonica O2 CR got some support from upgrade to Accumulate from Hold at Erste Bank. CME rallied to its all-time high above the CZK 2,300 per share on the back of nice performance in US, but profit taking in the last hour of trading pushed the stock into the red zone.
