Expenditure on TV advertising increased by 26%y/y to CZK 1.8bn in June according to TNS A-Connect. TV Nova broadcasted 25 more advertising hours compared with June 2004 while its closest, competitor TV Prima, 12 hours less. TV Nova’s audience share increased by 8pp to 70% while TV Prima’s fell by 4.3 pp to 20.8%. Note that TV Nova forms over 50% of CME sales.
