Telesystem International Wireless, a Canadian company that operates mobile-phone networks in the Czech Republic (Oskar Mobil) and Romania (MobiFon), said it is considering listing its shares in Europe. The company has more than 6.7 million subscribers in Central Europe. TIW's shares are already listed on the Nasdaq and on the Toronto Stock Exchange. TIW spokesman Jacques Lacroix said the company is considering a listing in Europe to widen its investor base and that one option is a stock exchange in a city such as London, Amsterdam or Prague. Lacroix could not say when the company would make the final decision.
