The Cabinet should set up Cesky Telecom's privatization committee today, which should be formed by seven members. The Ministry of Finance has proposed that the committee should have three representatives from the Ministry of Finance, and one representative from each of the Ministries of IT, Transportation, the Interior and the National Property Fund (NPF). CSFB/CS, the state's privatization advisor, should recommend the optimal form for selling the state's 51% stake in Cesky Telecom to the privatization committee in October. The Ministry of Finance expects the Cabinet to decide on the sale method in October at the latest. Note that the Cabinet is currently considering selling the stake (i) to a tender winner or (ii) through capital markets.
