The PX-50 index closed higher by almost 1% at 726 points on Monday, with a fresh inflow of capital pulling the market higher once again. Komercni banka dominated in terms of traded volume with strong foreign demand, though the stock closed virtually flat on the day at CZK 2,800. CEZ was also bid by international investors while Philip Morris CR moved higher on strong domestic buying and short squeeze. Philip Morris CR and CEZ touched their respective all-time highs. Volume in the SPAD trading systém reached USD 49.65m.
