The PX-50 index lost 1.09% to 552.1 points yesterday. Komercni banka dominated the market in terms of volume, exceeding USD 9.76 mil., though it lost over 2.5% of its value on the day. CEZ was also down sharply as it lost more than 2.2%. Ceske radiokomunikace was sent spiraling down some 6% following no news from its Tuesday EGM. Investors cautiously eye domestic politics as the government coalition has lost its one-seat majority in the 200-seat lower house of Parliament, where a government-proposed finance-reform package faces its first test toward passage today. Volume in the SPAD trading system reached USD 23.02 mil. on Wednesday.
