The PX-50 index gained 0.71% to 540.6 points on Friday. Most investors focused on Ceske radiokomunikace (CRa) after its majority owner announced a voluntary share buy-out offer at CZK 245 per share. A number of local investors and brokerage houses have since advised clients to continue buying the shares on speculations that minority shareholders would not accept the offer. Komercni banka lost 0.50%, and Cesky Telecom gained 2.03% to CZK 276.50 on Friday on low volumes and on no news. Total volume in the SPAD trading system was USD 32.63 mil.
