Pokles se i nadále přisuzuje ztrátě důvěry ve vládní finanční politiku. Kurz EUR/HUF otevíral na 261,15, forint pak zvolna oslaboval hlavně v dopoledních hodinách. Odpoledne končil na 263,85, když kolem poledne dokonce překonal hranici 264,00. Propad si maďarská měna připsala i vůči americkému dolaru. Z ranních 226,91 se odpoledne přiblížila hodnotě 231,00, nakonec ale uzavírala na 230,25.
